First, if anyone saw the Kitchen Showdown post - the event was just canceled. I must make it up to you by telling you about a great new deal!
First of all, you should be making any and all restaurant reservations on Open Table. You get points for each reservation that you honor, and those points turn into dollars. I always look forward to getting enough points to cash in for $20 at any restaurant that has Open Table. And make a reservation even if you think you won't need one. Be in it for the points. Keep your eye on the prize!
Open Table just launched Open Table Spotlight. Click here to learn more. This program gives you a weekly chance to buy a delicious deal. The first deal was at Metrazur, a great restaurant in Grand Central. For just $25, you get a $50 gift certificate. Not too shabby!!! All you have to do is sign up for the e-mails, and when the deal comes, it may just be the deal for you.
Have a delicious day!
NYC Menu Girl
Hey there Menu Girl. I noticed your post about Open Table Spotlight. They're getting a lot of press for stepping into Groupon's model...should work well for them. Problem is that it will cost restaurants even more and they're tired of skyrocketing Open Table fees.
ReplyDeleteWe quietly launched our reservation system in NYC this week with a couple of restaurants signed up. We'd love you to write about us a bit later. Our model is a little different in that patrons don't earn a dollar's worth of points for booing reservation. They earn points towards becoming VIP where they get perks like 50% off bottles of wine with every reservation and also access to short notice reservations. The restaurants can vary the perks on a month to month basis.
As an affiliate site, you could feature a restaurant in your blog and earn $1 per person for every reservation booked from your site. You might even be a good Reseller. Keep an eye on us at www.rervationgenie.com
